High School Football

Thanks to local sponsors, KPRV provides live coverage of local sporting events.  Announcer David Billy covers Poteau High School football on 1280 AM.  Announcer Steve Harris covers Heavener High School football on 92.5 FM.

Following each football broadcast, KPRV features the weekly Scoreboard Show produced by Bob Marchant.  This show, sponsored by area businesses and individuals, provides commentary on local high school football teams as well as live pre-game and post-game interviews with area football coaches.

During basketball season, 92.5 FM features Heavener Wolf basketball coverage by Steve Harris, while 1280 AM features Poteau Pirate basketball coverage by Terry Gray.

College Sports

Another regular sports feature is live coverage of OU football and basketball games.
